This notice explains the information involved in browsing this website, booking an appointment online, filling out patient forms online, using the chat button, using the practice's ad landing pages and using its contact links. For health-record rights and how to request the practice's current notice, see patient privacy information.

How we use information when you browse

You can read the site without creating an account or entering your name. Cloudflare hosts and delivers these pages. In providing that service, Cloudflare processes technical information that can include IP addresses and traffic routing information. Its privacy policy, including the section on End Users, explains its handling of that information.

Apart from the online booking page, the online patient forms page and the ad landing pages, each described below, the website uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read, so the practice can tell which information people find useful. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier) that tell repeat visits apart, and it records the page address, the page you came from, your browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Google states that it uses the IP address for that approximate location and for spam detection, never associates raw IP addresses with user identifiers, and discards raw IP addresses after use (Google's description of IP address usage). The website does not send your name, email address, phone number, or anything you type into a form or the booking scheduler to Google Analytics, and the practice does not use Google Analytics to identify individual visitors. Google's privacy policy and its page on how Google uses information from sites that use its services describe Google's handling of this information. You can prevent Google Analytics from running in your browser with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or with a browser or extension that blocks its script.

Every page except the ad landing pages, which have their own counts described below, also counts visits that call, book or send a form, as described in Counting contacts on this website at the end of this notice. The website does not run advertising pixels or session recordings. Search in the knowledge library, research library and condition index filters information already on the page within your browser. The website does not send those search terms to an analytics service or save them in an account.

Booking an appointment online

Online booking on this website is provided by Aloha, the practice's scheduling and patient communication system. When you book, the scheduler asks for your name, email address, mobile phone number and date of birth, the appointment time you choose, and an optional note. It also offers two optional checkboxes, one to receive emails and one to receive text messages; neither is checked unless you check it. That information goes from your browser directly to the practice through Aloha, which connects to the practice's records system. This website does not receive or store it.

Loading the booking page connects your browser to Aloha's servers, which can disclose technical information such as your IP address and the address of the page you are on. The scheduler also keeps small items in your browser's local storage, such as the step you reached and where a booking started, so a booking can resume. The note field is optional; you can discuss your health concerns with the team at your visit.

Before the booking page loads the scheduler, it removes tracking details such as advertising codes from the page address, so they are not sent to Aloha. The booking page does not load Google Analytics. If you reached the booking page from one of the ad landing pages described below and your booking is confirmed, the booking page adds one to that landing page's count of completed bookings, with the same details as its other counts. It does not record your name, contact details or the appointment you chose.

You can also call the practice to book. Clicking a telephone link opens your device's calling application; it does not submit anything through this website.

Ad landing pages

The practice's online ads lead to landing pages at addresses beginning /go/. These pages carry no Google Analytics or advertising tags. Their form asks for your first and last name, email address and phone number, two optional checkboxes, one to receive text messages and one to receive emails, and on some versions of the page one optional question about your situation (for example, whether you have been to a chiropractor before). It never asks about your health. When you send the form, your contact details are stored in the practice's reporting system, which is hosted on Supabase, so the office can call you back.

Along with the form, the pages keep only the advertising campaign's source, medium, name and ad version when these are in the page address. The search terms you typed and the ad click identifiers that can also appear there are not stored.

The pages count visits, the first time someone starts filling in the form, taps on a phone link, taps on the online booking button and bookings completed after following that button, in total, with no IP address and no device identifier. Each page visit gets a random number, made when the page loads. It is kept in the browser tab's session storage until the tab closes, and the website's other pages count toward it as described in Counting contacts on this website, so a visit that goes on from the ad page is counted once and as a visit from an ad. It is also carried to that visit's thank-you or booking page, so a form or booking can be matched to the visit it came from. No two page visits share one. Each count records which ad led to the page, when that is in the page address, and whether the device is used mainly by touch or with a mouse, so the practice can compare results on phones and computers. A first-party cookie named lpv records which of two versions of the page you were shown, so you see the same one if you come back. It holds a single letter, no identifier, and expires after 30 days.

Online patient forms

The online patient forms are provided by Aloha. They ask for your contact and personal details (with an optional field for your Social Security number), payment and insurance information, the reason for your visit, your health history and your electronic signature on the practice's consent forms. What you enter goes from your browser directly to the practice through Aloha, which connects to the practice's records system. This website does not receive or store it. The online patient forms page does not load Google Analytics.

Chat

The chat button on the homepage is provided by Aloha. It asks for your name, mobile phone number and a message. Your message goes to the practice through Aloha, and the practice replies by text message to the number you give. Please keep detailed health information, insurance identifiers and payment details out of a chat message; call the practice instead.

Text messages

The practice uses Aloha to send text messages about appointments, feedback requests and office notifications. We will not sell, share, or rent your mobile opt-in data to any third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Our text-message terms explain message types, frequency, rates, how to get help and how to stop messages at any time by texting STOP.

Patient paperwork

The patient paperwork page provides a downloadable form to print and bring to your appointment. You can also fill out the practice's new patient forms through the online patient forms described above. This website does not accept uploads of completed paperwork. Please do not send completed health forms, detailed symptoms, insurance identifiers, or medical records through ordinary email, text message or a public review. Call the practice to arrange an appropriate way to share them.

Information you provide during a call, a booking, a chat or in patient paperwork is handled through the practice's own processes and systems. See patient privacy information for information about health-record rights and how to request the practice's current notice.

Embedded videos, maps, and reviews

Some pages offer videos, maps, or review tools supplied by other companies. These embedded tools load when you choose their load control, with two exceptions on the homepage: Aloha's chat button, and on larger screens a review badge showing the practice's Google and Facebook reviews, load on their own once the page has finished loading. The review data comes from Aloha through Amazon Web Services. Activating a tool connects your browser to its provider and can disclose technical information, such as your IP address. Providers may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. Opening a direct external link also connects you to that website.

YouTube and Google Maps are covered by Google's privacy policy. The Review Us page links to Google's review form. The form is not embedded in the page and does not load until you follow that link; the Google Analytics measurement described above is separate and is covered in its own section. Review the notice displayed by any external service before entering information. Public reviews can be visible to other people; avoid including private health details.

Your choices about cookies and external websites

You can leave an embedded tool unloaded and continue reading the page, and you can close the review badge. Your browser settings let you manage cookies and other site storage, including the Google Analytics cookies described above; blocking those cookies stops Google Analytics from telling your visits apart but does not stop a page view from being counted, which is what the opt-out add-on above is for. The site reads normally either way. Blocking third-party content may prevent a video, map, or review tool from working. You can still call the practice using the details on the contact page.

Links to research, directions, and external services take you to websites with their own privacy practices. This website's notice does not govern those services.

Privacy questions and requests

For questions about information you have provided to the practice, how it is retained, or how to request access or a correction, please contact the practice by telephone or at its office address. The team can direct your request to the appropriate person. Please avoid including medical information in an initial public or email inquiry.

Changes to this notice

This page will be updated when the website's information handling changes, including before any new online service or analytics tool is added. The update date appears at the top of this notice.

Counting contacts on this website

Source Chiropractic counts one page view per visit, taps on phone and booking links, and forms sent.

The counter makes a random visit id in this browser tab and records whether the visit came from an ad. It keeps these in the tab's session storage until the tab closes. It sends the visit id, whether the visit came from an ad, and whether the device is a phone or a computer with each counted event to the practice's own reporting database.

This counter uses no cookie and collects no page address, name or contact details. Nothing from this counter is shared with ad platforms or other third parties.
