Seeing other doctors as well as us
If you also see other doctors, here's how a visit with us fits in. Your first visit starts with a sit-down with one of our chiropractors about your health history, symptoms and goals. That's the time to tell us about care you're getting elsewhere and anything you're unsure about.
Before we recommend anything, we'll go over what we found at the exam. If it isn't a muscle-and-joint problem, we'll refer you for the right medical evaluation.
Records, referrals and the other office
If another doctor is already looking at the same problem, it's worth mentioning at that first visit. Records or test results you already have can save repeating them.
Another office's scheduling, fees and coverage are confirmed with that office, and with your insurer where it applies. The same goes for whether an appointment there needs a referral or insurance authorization.
